The golf cart I bought for this project is a late 1970’s vintage Club Car Carouche. I lean heavily upon the word “vintage”. It’s old, but functional.
Front end removed to expose the suspension, which I plan on replacing to increase the height of the car.
Solenoids to tap power from the resistor leading to the battery. It’s a 5 speed, except “gear” #1 isn’t working. I’ll need to replace all of the solenoids, just in case.
Also upgrading the suspension in the rear, to lift the cart up. There’s the entire drive train sitting on the cart, with a well-used motor.
Battery pack under the seat. Each battery is lead-acid 6V, for a total of 36V and a whole lot of amps.
